By default, the Customize Mode is available for all community members on their dashboard (the home page of the site), all group owners on all group and group application pages, and all blog authors on all blog application pages. However, you can disable the Customization Mode in any of these contexts.

The procedures listed below assume that you are changing the default settings to disable. To enable them again, simply reverse the procedures.
Dashboard

Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Membership Administration > Members and Roles > Manage Site Roles.

Select Registered Users from the Site Role drop-down list.

Move the Site - Customize Dashboard permission from the Granted Permissions list to the Available Permissions list.

Click Save to apply the settings.

Groups
When you disable the Customize Mode, group owners will no longer see the Customize button on any group page, nor will they have access to override the CSS for the group theme through the Control Panel.

Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Group Administration > Configuration > Default Group Theme.

Set the Enable Theme Configuration property to No.

Click Save to apply the settings.

Blogs
