New in Telligent Evolution 5.6: The duplicate text on the avatar page has been removed.
An avatar is simply a photo or image used to visually associate content with a particular user. It creates a level of personalization within the community.
The ability for a user to either have an avatar or change their avatar is controlled by the community administrator. The community administrator enables the properties that allow you to use a personal avatar, as well as select an avatar from a list of approved avatars or download an avatar from a remote site. If you are permitted to change your avatar, you can access the avatar functionality from your Changing your avatar from your profile page.
