Purpose: Displays an error page when you attempt to access a group to which you do not have access.

Activity Message List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, the inline reply graphical interface was improved; the Cancel button was removed in narrow column configurations; and this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the list of group activity with the most recent at the top. You can configure the activity list to specify the number of items to display per page, the default list view (all group activity, all group activity for the registered user, all site activity), and whether to include subgroup activity in the list.
Additional configuration options:
- Number of Items to Display - Specifies the number of items to display on a page in the activity list.
- Activity List Mode- Filters the type of activity to display.
- Group - Displays all group activity and subgroup activity if the Determines whether activity for subgroups should be included when viewing activity for a parent group option is checked.
- User Profile - Displays only the activity for the user.
- Determines whether activity for subgroups should be included when viewing activity for a parent group - If checked, displays all activity within subgroups as well as groups when Group is selected for the Activity List Mode option.
- Display Status Area Message at Top of Widget - If checked, displays the group status message at the top of the group activity list.
- Display User Avatars Next to Activity and Status Messages - If checked, displays user avatars next to items in the activity list.
- Maximum Number of Characters to Allow in Status Messages and Replies - Specifies the maximum size of the items in the activity list.

Additional configuration options:

Featured Content top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, the Featured Content widget was given thin-, medium-, and wide widget layout views; it started allowing you to control the length of excerpts, and the Read more... link was removed.
Purpose: Displays a list of content you have featured for the current group and subgroups.

This widget supports featuring content from all applications.

Shows a warning if a user is in a private group so that they know the information he/she is viewing is meant to be private.

In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the widget stopped appearing when the manage contact requests was supposed to show and the accessing user was not supposed to see the link, and there are no other links visible were the widget.

Group - Application Navigation top |
Purpose: Displays the list of applications enabled for the group in a navigation format.
Limitations: If the user has create post privileges the New Post functionality is available. If an application is disabled within the group context, the application tab will not display in the widget. For example, if you disable wikis within the group, the Wiki tab will not display in the Application Navigation widget.

Group - Banner top |
Purpose: Displays the group banner. You can add a banner description in the Control Panel (Group Options page) or click on the link provided in the banner. The banner also includes a group RSS syndication link and the Add to Favorite Places link.

Group - Breadcrumbs top |
Purpose: Displays group bread crumbs. The bread crumbs are normally at the top of the page and provide users a visual display of their location within the Web site. Each item in the bread crumb is a link to a page. The following example shows the group bread crumbs with a top-level group (Quality Assurance) and subgroup (Q & A Managers).

Group - Contact top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the contact form stopped preventing a user from joining or leaving a group.
Purpose: Displays a form which allows users to contact the group owners.

Limitations: The Enable Contact Form property on the Control Panel (Group Options page) must be enabled for the contact form to display.

Group - Contact Request top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays user contact request notification.
This alerts the group owners that users have sent emails requesting contact. This widget is already included in the contact-request.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add it to a different page or create a new page that begins with the widget and use developer tools to modify it.

Group - Contact Request List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the moderated and unmoderated request filters were removed.
Purpose: Displays the list of contact requests.
Limitations: This widget is viewable only by group owners/administrators and contains functionality links, including list view filters (all requests, moderated requests, unmoderated requests) and a delete link.

Group - Create top |
Purpose: Displays a form for creating a new group. The form contains the same properties you will find when you create a group through the Control Panel.
Limitations: The Group - Create widget can be used only by group owners/administrators.

Group - Links top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the Invite user link was disabled when LDAP is enabled; clicking Invite user automatically selected Invite members by name tab when directing users to members.aspx page; and the widget added a Favorite this group link.
Purpose: Displays common action links related to groups. You can customize the Links widget any way you want. For example, the following screenshot shows a links widget called Group Administration, which contains some links that only admins can access.
Limitations: The links available to users are based on the user's privileges and list configuration.

Additional configuration options:
- Show invite user link - Opens the user invitation form so you can invite a user to join the group. You must be a group owner or administrator to access this link.
- Show join group link - Allows you to join a public open group.
- Show edit group link - Accesses the group management section of the Control Panel. You must have the Edit Group Settings privilege.
- Show edit theme link - Accesses the group theme page in the Control Panel. You must be a group owner or administrator to to access this link.
- Show manage members link - Opens the add a member form. You must have the Edit Membership privilege.
- Show manage contact requests link - Allows you to manage user contact requests. You must be a group owner or administrator to access this link.

Group - List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, paging was added; height was given minimum and maximum values; the configurable page size was given minimum and maximum values, and long group titles were styled to hide overflow from long names.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners, and the widget gained an option to sort groups by those having the most participation.
Purpose: Displays a configurable list of groups. You can configure the list to display subgroups or the entire list of the context user's groups, and the display mode (ascending or descending).

Additional configuration options:
- Show - Specifies the items that display in the group list. This option displays as Accessing User's Groupsfrom the Dashboard context.
- Current contextual group's subgroups - Displays the subgroups of the current group.
- Current contextual user's groups - Displays the groups owned by the user who owns the current group.
- Accessing user's groups - Displays the groups to which you belong
- View Type- Specifies the information displayed about the groups in the list.
- Detailed List - Displays detailed information about the items in the list, such as group avatar, group description, author, author avatar, and application.
- Simple Extended List - Displays less information than the Detailed List format, such as author, author avatar, and application.
- Simple List - Displays only group names in the list.
- Sort Order - Specifies whether the groups display in ascending or descending order.
- Number of Items to Display - Specifies the number of items to display in the list.
- Show Latest Activity Message - If checked, specifies the nature of the activity in the group.

Group - Membership List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the widget began supporting paging. Bad logic from a script error was corrected.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the list of top group members. The list is based on group members who have published the most posts for all the groups in the site. Because the widget is not group-specific, the list of members will be the same regardless of which group page the widget is loaded into.
Group owners/administrators can use the More... link to add members or send invitations to potential group members.
The following screen capture shows the widget in Filtered/Paged List mode.
