The theme import/export  functionality is part of the page customization feature. When you import or export a theme, you can also import and export the theme properties associated with the site, groups, and blogs.

Export a theme

  1. In the group home page, click Edit this theme in the Group Administration panel.

    The Themes page appears.

  2. Click Export. The Theme Configuration dialog box appears.

  3. Select Save File and click OK. The theme .xml file is saved to your default downloaded file location.

Import a theme

  1. In the group home page, click Edit this theme in the Group Administration panel.

    The Themes page appears.

  2. Click Import. The Theme Configuration dialog box appears.

  3. Click Browse and navigate to the .xml theme file location.

  4. Click Import.

    A confirmation pop-up displays detailing how many values were imported into the theme.

  5. Click OK to close the window.

    If you want to see the new theme elements displayed on the page, click Go to Site in the upper-right corner of the page.
