Telligent Evolution provides a rich Web experience that allows you to use interact online with forums, blogs, files, and wikis using a rich text editor. To increase participation in your community and to increase your community's productivity, you can enable notifications and forum posts to be delivered to community members via email by installing Telligent Evolution Mail Gateway. The Mail Gateway manages queuing and sending all emails from and to the Telligent Evolution application.
With Mail Gateway installed, community members can reply to forum posts directly in their email program (all email interactions with forums are captured onsite as well).
You can set Telligent Evolution to use Mail Gateway through the Telligent Evolution Control Panel. Then all you have to do is <install Mail Gateway Services>.
