The word replacement filters functionality allows you to replace bad or forbidden words or terms with an inoffensive word or a placeholder. You must have the post censorship setting enabled for the replacement filters to take effect.

To manage word replacement filters:

  1. Navigate to Control Panel Dashboard > System Administration > Site Administration > Content/Site Security > Word Replacement Filters.

  2. Click in the text field and type the offending word or term, followed by a space and the replacement word. A common replacement is a placeholder such as *** to indicate that an offending word has been replaced.

  3. Click Save to apply the settings.
