Add User File top |
Purpose: Displays the form for adding a user file which allows users to download a file to the Web site.
Limitations: The Enable User Files property must be enabled on the User Files page to use the Add User File widget.

Add User Folder top |
Purpose: Displays the Add User Folder which allows users to add a file folder to the Web site.
Limitations: The Enable User Files property must be enabled (User Files page) to use the Add User Folder widget.

API Key List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, if REST API was disabled, Telligent Evolution started displaying a message reflecting this in the API key list. This and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Display a list of API keys created by the user.
Limitations: Should only be used on a user profile page or on a page specific to a user.

Change Password top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, a confirmation message was added after you change a password.
Purpose: Displays the Change Password form when the user clicks the Change Password link. Allows the user to change his/her login password.

Create API Key top |
Purpose: Displays a forum that allows you to create an API key when you click the Create and Edit Application Keys on the Site Options page of your profile.

Create User top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, you became able to add a custom profile field to the registration form; the Password field no longer tried to validate until after Tab is pressed; the Join button is enabled before clicking on the timezone drop-down list; Sign in name changed to User name, and inline validation was added to input.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this widget began reflecting any changes made in the customizable user profile fields.
Purpose: Displays the Create User form. The form is the same as the form available from the Control Panel to create a user.
Limitations: This widget is available only to users who have create user privileges.
Note: You can customize the fields shown in this widget in the User Profile Configuration > Fields tab.)

Edit User top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6,Sign in name changed to User name; the ability to change the avatar was removed; name and birthday were moved to the Edit Profile page; signature was moved to the first tab of this page; conversation settings and email options were moved to first tab of this page; the first tab was renamed Basic options, and the second tab was renamed Advanced options.
Purpose: Displays a user's profile setting. The user can modify a biographical information as well as other profile settings, such as activity log display properties. This page is the same as the Options page that displays when the user clicks the Settings link.
Limitations: You must have the Manage Membership privilege.

Favorite Content List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Display the list of the viewed user's favorite content.
Limitations: Intended for use on the user profile or on the user dashboard with the context switched to viewing user instead of viewed user.
Additional configuration options:
- View type:
- Filtered/paged list: includes filtering tabs for each application type

- Not Filtered/paged: shows all favorites without the filtering tabs

Friendship List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners. When placing this widget on a page, it began defaulting to the accessing user (typically your own login ID).
Purpose: Displays a list of your friends within the community.

Additional configuration options:
- View Type- Specifies how the friendship list is viewed.
- Filtered/Paged List - Displays blog post details, such as the blog, author, published date, and post excerpt. (View type shown in the screen shot above.)
- Not Filtered/Not Paged List - Displays no post details.
- Show Friends For- Specifies whose friends display.
- Current contextual user - Shows the friends for the user profile you are in.
- Accessing user - Shows friends for the logged-in user.

Invite User top |
Purpose: Displays the form used to invite users to join the community.
Limitations: You should set the Account Activation property on the Registration Settings page to Invitation Only to use this widget.

My Stuff top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, it became possible to reorder the tabs and choose which ones to display.
Purpose: Displays the user's recent application activity in a tabbed format. The My Stuff widget can be configured to display the activity of the logged in user or the current user.

Additional configuration options:
- Query Type- Specifies whose activity displays in the My Stuff list.
- Current User - Displays your activity.
- Logged In User - Displays the activity of the user you're logged in as.
- Page Size - Specifies the number of items that will display in the list per page.

Online User List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse and list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the users who are logged in to the community.

User Badge top |
Purpose: Displays common user links. This widget must be added to the user dashboard or home page.
Limitations: The links available to the user depends upon his/her user roles and privileges. For example, if an admin navigates to a registered user's home page or dashboard, the Badge widget links could look something like this:

This widget is already included in the badge.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add it to a different page or create a new page that begins with the widget and use developer tools to modify it.

User Banned top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, this widget became dynamically incorporated, showing only when a banned user tries to log in.
Purpose: Displays the User Banned page when a banned user attempts to publish a post to a forum. This widget is already included in the banneduser.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add it to a different page or create a new page that begins with the widget and use developer tools to modify it.

User - Banner top |
Purpose: Displays the user banner, including the user avatar and status message (if enabled), and links for contacting the user and edit profile.This widget contains user information only when it is loaded onto the user's profile page or dashboard page. You can configure the contact format in the widget.

Additional configuration options:
- Contact User Using - Specifies the contact format users can use to contact you.
- Conversation Message - Provides a Conversation link for users to launch a conversation with you.
- Direct Email - Provides a Send Message link. Opens your email application with the user's email address.
- Private Email - Hides the the message link. Users must send you a private email message.
- Do Not Allow Contact - No contact options are provided users.

User File top |
Purpose: Displays when the user attempts to view an inaccessible file.

User File Links top |
Purpose: Displays the list of file links available to the user.
Limitations: The options in the list are dependent upon the user's roles and privileges. The Enable User Files property on the User Files page must be enabled to use this widget.

In Telligent Evolution 5.6, this widget shows a thumbnail and a hyperlinked name.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the list of user files.
Limitations: The Enable User Files property on the User Files page must be enabled to use this widget.

User File - Slideshow top |
Purpose: Displays user files in a slide show format. By default, the slide show link is an available option in the User- File Links widget.
Limitations: The Enable User Files property on the User Files page must be enabled to use this widget.

In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the list of user folders.

This widget displays a form to allow a user to log into the site using the LDAP form authentication module.
In configuring this widget, you can only change the widget title.

User List top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, avatars were reduced to their normal size.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this and all other browse or list widgets became allowed for group owners.
Purpose: Displays the list of users within the community.

User - Logged Out top |
Purpose: Displays a message indicating the user has been logged out. This widget is already included in the logout.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add it to a different page or create a new page that begins with the widget and use developer tools to modify it.

User - Login top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, this widget is not displayed if the user is already logged in.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this widget began cleaning up its own fields instead of retaining text entries.
Purpose: Displays the user login form when the user clicks the Sign inlink or logs in to the community. This widget is already included in the login.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add the widget to a different page or create a new page that will use it.

User - Navigation top |
Purpose: Displays links to common user-related locations in a tab format.

- Additional configuration options:
- Include Profile Link - Opens your profile.
- Include Activity Link - Displays your activity list.
- Include Groups Link - Displays your groups and the group activity.
- Include Friends Link - Displays your list of friends.
- Include Favorites Link - Displays your list of favorites.
- Include Files Link - Displays your media files.
- Include Blog Posts Link - Displays your list of blog posts.
The User Navigation widget requires a contextual user on the page. This widget does not work on group home pages because there is not a contextual user to display links for.

User Profile top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the Comments tab was removed from the widget.
Purpose: Displays the user's biography, which the user published in his/her profile. The User Profile widget is not configurable, although the user can edit the biography in his/her profile. This widget is already included in the userprofile.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add the widget to a different page or create a new page that will use it.

User Profile Fields top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this widget was placed on the Create User page.
Purpose: Displays the user profile fields in defined profile field groups.

Additional configuration options:
- The Profile Field Group's profile fields that should be displayed in this widget.
- If you are including this widget on a user profile page, you will want to set Show Profile Information For to Contextual User. If, however, you're including a profile field widget on a page that should show information for the user who is viewing the page, set this to Accessing User.
- If you want users to be able to edit the profile field, leave Read Only unchecked. Otherwise, check the box so that the user editing his or her profile cannot change the value. This is particularly useful when you're using another system to drive the value of this profile field (e.g., integration with LDAP).

User Registration Welcome top |
Purpose: Displays the welcome page to new users when they log in to the Web site. This widget is already included in the welcome.aspx page, which is part of the Telligent Evolution package; however, you can add it to a different page or create a new page that begins with the widget and use developer tools to modify it.

User Shared RSS Feed top

In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the problem of having two or more added feeds causing Customize page errors was corrected, and wording was clarified.
In Telligent Evolution 5.5, this widget's user interface was updated to look like the RSS widget.
Displays the list of RSS feeds added by the user on her/his Profile Options page. By default this widget is available to users to load onto their Dashboard.

User Status top |
In Telligent Evolution 5.6, the status updating ability was removed; a configuration option was added to display the accessing user or contextual user information, and long words were given line breaks.
Purpose: Displays a status page on which the user can update personal information, including status message, and links for editing his/her profile and changing the avatar.
