  • Forum Post: Tired of CS 2007 ;-)

I have been growing tired, envious, to annoyed at all the people blogging that now have CS 3 aka CS 2007 while most of us do not have it even though some of us may be large users and longtime users and supporters of CS. All I ask is please stop showing all of the cool things you can do long before...
  • Forum Post: CommunityServer.org on Community Server 2007

Just a quick announcement. Today is a big day for Community Server 2007. We finally upgraded this site to Community Server 2007. Most of the big changes are in the control panel and general infrastructure, so there is not too much for you to see until we release a beta. Please let us know if you see...

  • Forum Post: Re: Re: Re: Re: Re: CommunityServer.org on Community Server 2007

I am getting the email notifications (just got 5 of them for this thread) but they are really mess up. The images are broken. Some of the HTML link tags are unclosed or messed up. I can forward them to someone at CS if you're interested. cheers, Cameron
  • Forum Post: CS 2007 : Clicking a thread icon does nothing

Just a js error on firefox about OpenWindow not defined. And I suggest to give the thread icon click another behavior, because the actual one (popup of faq page) is here since the first version, and not very useful : a simple tooltip could explain that there are replies and/or this thread is "popular"...
  • Forum Post: CS 2007 : Last post link fails on thread with pages

The "last post" by link in the forum view does not redirect to the last page if the thread has more than one page. Perhaps related to this bug ?

  • Forum Post: Re: (still) Admin login does nothing

For future reference (mine own mostly since I've had to look this up twice now): It is a cookie issue, but the cookie you need to delete (for IE6/7) is the one in <rootdrive>:\Documents and Settings\<username>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files (and maybe also the one in ...<username>...
  • Forum Post: CS 2007

Hi, Can you give me an idea of when we can download a beta of CS 2007? I've 3 sites that will upgrade to 2007, since we have a Pro license. • Forum Post: Re: compression factor for avatar images - too strong!

I am in agreement with you as I'm sure most people are. The compression is far too strong. If you have a picture of yourself or whoever, the image becomes very fuzzy. I have a copy of CS2007 and this does not appear to be fixed. Can't this be fixed as an option pretty simple in CS2007? Can...

  • Forum Post: Any sample / doc on CollapsableArea control?

Any sample / doc on CollapsableArea control? I see a reference to this in the new CS book, and I'd like to use this in a custom page that I'm developing. However I haven't been able to find an example of how to use this. Ideally I'd like an example for CS 2007 - but an older version would...
  • Forum Post: Re: Community Server 2007, Release Candidate 1

Just when I thought I was going to go to bed early tonight you go ahead and spring this on me. Plus you give me extra incentive to upgrade to submit my humble site to win the book. (Which might actually force me to learn what I'm doing with CS. ) I can't wait to get home from work and get cracking...

  • Forum Post: Tags Modal Dialog Problem

The problem is that when you use the modal dialog (popup) for selecting tags (for forums posts, if not all posts) on a site with many tags (such as cs.org), you have to scroll over to find OK and Cancel. This is very confusing to the average user.
